Black Wax Resist for Ceramic Line Decoration
Aftosa Black Wax Resist is designed for decorating ceramics where a black oxide line is wanted after firing. It can be brushed or piped on, making it useful for line work, colour separation and decorative ceramic surface detail.
Shake well before use and allow the wax to dry fully before applying another technique or firing. For the strongest black line, avoid thinning the wax and clean brushes immediately after use with warm soapy water.

- Can be glazed over after bisque firing
- Allow to dry for at least 2 hours before firing or applying a second wax coat
Note: Do not pour used wax back into the original bottle. Keep the lid tight, store away from freezing temperatures, and dispose of any contaminated wax if it develops a strong odour.
