We now offer a special order service for a wider selection of ceramic bisque designs beyond our main stocked range. As well as our existing earthenware bisque special orders from Gare, we can now also source selected stoneware bisque designs from Mayco, giving you even more choice for studios, workshops, paint your own pottery projects and creative businesses.
These special order bisque items are not part of our standard stocked range, but they can be ordered especially for you through Cromartie. This is a great option if you are looking for specific shapes, larger ranges or stoneware bisque designs that are not normally available from stock.
If you are looking for a wider range of ready-to-paint earthenware ceramic bisque, you can browse Gare’s collection and place your order through our special order service.
1. Visit Gare’s website and browse their full earthenware bisque selection.
2. Make a note of the stock number and description of the bisque piece(s) you would like to order.
3. Email your order details, including your full name and daytime contact number, to Bisque Special Orders or call 01782 344256.
We now also offer a stoneware bisque special order service through Mayco. This new service gives customers access to a broader range of stoneware bisque shapes that are ideal for more specialist ceramic projects, stoneware glazing and studio pottery work.
1. Visit Mayco’s stoneware bisque page to view the available designs.
2. Make a note of the item code and description for the stoneware bisque piece(s) you would like to order.
4. A member of our team will contact you to confirm the next available ordering date and estimated lead time for your Mayco stoneware bisque request.
1. Lead time for special order bisque is typically around 6 to 8 weeks, depending on supplier availability, shipping schedules and when orders are placed against the next container.
2. Mayco stoneware bisque orders do not currently have a fixed published cut-off date, so our team will confirm availability and timing once your request has been received.
3. Once your bisque arrives at Cromartie, we will contact you to arrange delivery or collection.
4. Please note that special order bisque is supplied as unfinished ceramic blanks and may be sold in supplier pack or box quantities depending on the design selected.
