Dark Teal Mid-Fire Glaze with Blue Mottling

Teal Agate Speedball Mid-Fire Glaze develops a rich dark teal surface with blue mottling that gives the fired colour a stone-like, naturally varied appearance. The mottling creates movement across both smooth areas and raised decoration, making it a useful choice when you want a deeper blue-green glaze without a completely uniform finish.

Choose Teal Agate when you want a subdued teal colour with visible tonal variation and a finish that changes with firing cone. The supplied Cone 6 layering examples also show distinctly different effects over Blue Tiger's Eye, Wisteria, Blue Topaz, Sea Glass, Storied Sage and Variegated Lapis, giving useful options for further glaze exploration.

Stir thoroughly before use and apply each coat evenly.
For the supplied layering examples, apply two coats of Teal Agate over two coats of the chosen base glaze.
Follow the specific firing and glazing instructions for your kiln and process.
