Thundercloud Grey Translucent Ceramic Underglaze – E-Z Stroke® 29ml
Thundercloud Grey is a cool, mid-toned translucent grey that brings balance and sophistication to ceramic work.
Its neutral character makes it ideal for soft shading, backgrounds, and tonal contrast.

Thundercloud Grey layers subtly, allowing artists to add depth without drawing attention away from focal details.
Application & Firing
- Apply one coat for translucent designs to greenware, unfired glaze, soft-fired bisque, or cone 04 bisque. Allow to dry.
- Fire to shelf cone 04.
- For bisque ware, apply to cone 04 bisque, allow to dry, and apply clear glaze if desired.
- Fire to shelf cone 06–05 (999°C–1046°C / 1830°F–1915°F).
- Apply additional thin coats to build depth and shading as required.
- Easy water clean-up.
When finished with a food safe clear glaze, this underglaze is suitable for
functional dinnerware as well as decorative ceramic pieces.
