Chocolate Buttons is a deep chocolate brown Cromartie Colours underglaze with a rich, classic finish. It is perfect for woodland animals, tree trunks, hair details, autumn pottery, food-themed ceramics, outlines, rustic designs, and strong earthy contrast.
The 59ml squeeze bottle is ideal for smaller projects, detailed brushwork, testing the shade, and adding a deep brown tone to your ceramic designs.
With two to three coats, Chocolate Buttons builds to a dark, full brown finish, giving pottery depth and warmth under clear glaze.
Application Guide
- Apply to cone 04 bisque (approx. 1060°C)
- Glaze with any clear glaze
- Fire to cone 06 (approx. 1000°C)
- Suitable to cone 6
- Water clean-up
