Vivid Indigo Blue with Light Blue and White Effects
Bring vivid blue colour and subtle lighter detail to stoneware with BOTZ Indigo Stoneware Glaze. This bright blue glaze develops small light blue and white effects across the fired surface, creating a lively but balanced finish for functional pottery and decorative ceramics.
Apply 2–3 coats, with BOTZ recommending 3 coats. Fire between 1220°C and 1280°C with a 30-minute soak; BOTZ describes the result as most attractive from 1250°C upwards. At 1220°C it produces a silk-matt blue with small light precipitations, while from 1250°C to 1280°C it develops into a vivid silk-matt blue with lighter effects. BOTZ describes the finish as silk-matt in its application notes, while the product properties label it satin-glossy.
