Champagne Tones with Grained Gloss Speckling
Winter Meadow BOTZ Earthenware Glaze gives a champagne-coloured ground scattered with grained gloss specks and a satin-glossy finish. The pale neutral base and irregular speckling create gentle surface interest across broad areas, while the visible examples show the effect working particularly clearly on plates and shallow forms with simple ridged detailing.
Choose Winter Meadow when you want a light neutral glaze with more visual variation than a plain, uniform surface. The specks become darker on coloured clays, allowing the character of the finish to change with the body beneath it; testing on the intended clay body is therefore useful when the final appearance is important.
