Layered Blue Crystals with Flowing Surface Effects
Waterfall BOTZ Earthenware Glaze creates a green ground scattered with generous crystal specks in different shades of blue. Some crystals develop lighter matt centres, while the overall surface is satin-glossy. The layered blue-on-green character works particularly well across rounded vessels and softly textured forms, where the changing patches of colour can follow the shape and add visual depth.
Choose Waterfall when you want an active crystal pattern rather than an even single-colour surface. On slanted areas the glaze can create attractive flow effects, allowing curved or angled forms to show more movement in the finished surface. The combination of green ground, varied blue crystals and occasional lighter centres gives each area plenty of natural visual variation.
