Intensive Mediterranean Blue Earthenware Glaze with a Matt Finish
Mauritius BOTZ Earthenware Glaze gives an intensive Mediterranean blue with a matt finish. Its strong blue can take centre stage on simple bowls, rounded vessels and clean, uncluttered forms, giving broad ceramic surfaces a bold area of colour without relying on additional pattern or decoration.
Choose Mauritius when you want a strong blue glaze that can also be used on dark clay. It is intended to be fired only to 1040°C; higher-temperature experiments become less colour stable and more silky, so they should be treated as an experimental variation rather than the standard result.
