Dark Aventurin Surface with Amber-Tinted Detail
Ironstone BOTZ Earthenware Glaze creates a dark Aventurin surface with amber-tinted precipitations and a satin-glossy finish. The sample shows a deep brown and olive-toned ground with darker mottling and scattered amber points, giving broad glazed areas a naturally varied appearance that can work well where the surface effect is an important part of the decoration.
Choose Ironstone when you want a dark, variegated glaze rather than a uniform single-colour surface. The glaze becomes darker when fired at 1020°C and tends to crack, so testing it on a sample piece can help you judge how these characteristics will contribute to the finished appearance.
