Metallic Colour That Changes with Firing
Gloria BOTZ Earthenware Glaze creates a satin-gloss metallic surface whose colour changes with the firing temperature, ranging from silvery gold to silvery red. Its softly reflective, finely varied appearance works especially well across broad-sided vases, small planters and simple sculptural forms where the metallic surface can become a strong part of the finished decoration.
Choose Gloria when you want a metallic glaze with more colour variation than an even single-colour finish. The result becomes redder and more silk-matt at 1100°C, while a much higher experimental firing can produce an anthracite matt colour play. This gives you several distinct visual directions from the same glaze, with the firing choice playing an important role in the final appearance.
