Glossy Transparent Glaze with Colourful Speckling
Carnival BOTZ Earthenware Glaze has a transparent glossy finish filled with colourful specks. In the supplied examples, blue, yellow, green and dark marks scatter across the surface, producing a varied multicolour pattern that can bring extra visual interest to simple cylinders, bowls and other broad ceramic forms.
Choose Carnival when you want the clay body and glaze pattern to work together rather than covering the piece with one solid colour. Its transparency allows the surface beneath to contribute to the finished look, while the coloured specks provide the main decoration. It is especially effective on red and black clay.
