Black is a bold, essential Cromartie Colours underglaze, perfect for outlines, lettering, fine detail, eyes, monochrome designs, Halloween pottery, graphic patterns, shadows, and strong contrast work.
The 59ml squeeze bottle is ideal for smaller projects, detailed brushwork, testing the shade, and keeping a strong black underglaze ready for outlines and finishing touches.
With two to three coats, Black builds to a deep opaque finish, giving ceramic designs strong definition and crisp contrast under clear glaze.
Application Guide
- Apply to cone 04 bisque (approx. 1060°C)
- Glaze with any clear glaze
- Fire to cone 06 (approx. 1000°C)
- Suitable to cone 6
- Water clean-up
