Silk Clay® Modelling Compound – Black (40g Tub)

compound is ideal for detailed shapes, small figures and decorations, and it air-dries at room temperature into a durable,
slightly foamy finish. The black colour is perfect for outlines, animals, spooky makes, monochrome designs, or adding bold
contrast when combined with brighter Silk Clay shades.
Silk Clay® is a brilliant all-round material for family craft sessions, classrooms and hobby makers because it’s easy to
knead, easy to shape, and doesn’t require baking. It adheres well without sticking excessively to hands, and once dry it holds
its form nicely. If the clay starts to feel a little firm during use, you can often restore its working softness by kneading it
again, or adding a tiny amount of water and working it through gently.
Supplied in a handy 40g airtight tub, this size is ideal for smaller projects,
topping up your craft box, or for colour details and accents when you’re working with multiple colours. Always re-seal the lid
after use to help keep the clay fresh for longer.

Helpful tips for best results
- Keep the lid on when not in use to prevent drying out
- For neat results, work on a clean surface and use small tools for details
- Make thicker pieces in stages to help them dry evenly
- If the clay feels firm, knead gently and add a tiny amount of water if needed
- Let finished pieces dry fully at room temperature before handling a lot
