Milton Bridge Stoneware Glazes (Dry 1kg & 25kg)

Decorative ceramic pieces finished with Milton Bridge stoneware glaze effects

Milton Bridge Stoneware Dry Glazes in 1kg & 25kg Packs

Milton Bridge stoneware dry glazes are powdered ceramic glazes for stoneware pottery, available in 1kg and 25kg pack sizes. They are a practical choice for potters, studios and workshops that prefer to mix glaze from powder rather than use ready-mixed liquid glaze.

These powdered stoneware glazes are designed for functional and decorative ceramics when mixed, applied and fired correctly. Fired results will vary depending on clay body, glaze thickness and firing process, so testing is recommended before using a glaze on important work.

Mixing, Application & Firing Guide

  • Pack sizes: 1kg and 25kg powdered glaze
  • Mixing ratio: 1 part powdered glaze, 0.75 part water and 0.5 part medium
  • Application: mix thoroughly, then apply up to 3 coats
  • Recommended firing temperature: 1240–1280°C / Cone 7–9
  • Use: suitable for functional and decorative stoneware ceramics when fired as directed

These glaze powders contain no clay in their recipes. A brushing medium is used to support adhesion to the ceramic body, extend shelf life, reduce settling and help minimise crazing during firing.
